Context

LibreGate is a personal VPN service with distributed server infrastructure. The project connects VPN servers, a Telegram bot, user management, subscriptions, and payments.

Task and role

Develop and deploy the service, connect its components, and maintain them. My responsibilities cover development, deployment, security, automation, and technical support.

Solution

  • Ubuntu LTS servers in several locations.
  • Docker, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, and Dokploy for service deployment and management.
  • Nginx, Traefik, DNS, Cloudflare, and HTTPS/TLS for publishing applications and APIs.
  • SSH, NetBird, private networks, and ACLs for administration.
  • Python, REST APIs, and n8n for integrations and process automation.
  • Beszel and Kener for server and service availability monitoring.

Result

The service has been launched. The Telegram bot is integrated with backend components and payment systems; subscription management and access provisioning are automated. Ongoing maintenance includes troubleshooting, log analysis, updates, and technical support.
